Mom's Corner

For those of you who don't know what Mom's Corner is, it's a forum full of mommies. It's a place where you can vent, ask questions, post stories of your little one to ooh and aww over, or, if you're like me just read all of it and never participate. I appreciated the board from behind the scenes. I logged on almost daily, but NEVER posted anything. I never even took the time to put together a ligitimate profile. Now, due to my lack of posting (or as they would call it, my stalker behavior) I've been deleted.....TWICE!

I just thought I would say that although I thought it was a good board, that I never felt like I had anything important enough to say to anyone. Now, however, I'm kind of upset that they won't let me at least see what everyone else has to say. Does anyone know of a good mommy forum that doesn't require you post every thirty days? If so, I'd love to know what the web address is...

On a side note, Alex had his 6 month check up recently. Here are his stats:

Weight: 15.3 lbs. 12th percentile

Height: 25.8 in. 24th percentile

Head Circ. 17.9 in 90th percentile

We are the very proud parents of a very healthy (although relatively small) growing baby boy (with a big head FULL of brains!) LOL!!!!

I was tagged by Karissa and Colleen so here's what you gotta do. Take the your 7th picture folder on your computer, go to the 7th picture in that folder, post it, and explain about it.

In this picture I was about 24 weeks preggo and on my way to the Arizona Salsa Festival. Not really sure why we decided that would be a good idea because I was plagued by horrible heartburn the ENTIRE 38 weeks. I'm relatively tall at 5'9, but I'm mostly leg and my torso is actually pretty small in comparison. This means that Alex had no where to go but into my diaphragm, therefore causing my horrible heartburn. At this stage in my pregnancy I was drinking a gallon of milk every three or four days and was on prescription heartburn medicine twice daily along with tums. Awful!!! What the heck was I thinking going to a place that was completely outside (meaning it was HOT!) and served nothing but salsa and beer. In the words of my husband, "That's just dumb!" Let's just say that although the company was good (we went with some friends,) the trip made me miserable and I spent the rest of the evening on the couch with my very swollen feet in a bucket of ice water. Gotta love pregnancy!

Now, since I don't have many blogging friends I'm only going to tag my wonderful friend Melissa. Everyone else that I know has already been tagged and blogged already....
