Landscaping and more...

I am happy to announce that we are the proud owners of a wonderful house WITH backyard landscaping. It only took 7 months, but we finally don't have to stare at a dusty, dirt filled backyard anymore. The only thing missing is the pool, however, that won't be added till I graduate next summer. I can just imagine the lovely Arizona spring nights sitting outside with a margarita while Alex plays on the play-set (that is to be added sometime soon) and Denny BBQ's. Oh, the dreams I have.

Now about that play-set. I want to buy something that will be with us for many years. Denny thinks it might be more appropriate to buy a smaller set that will only be good for a couple of years. My thought is that I can add an age appropriate swing to it and that will suffice until Alex is older and then we don't have to replace it in a couple of years. We would like to buy this play-set (whichever one we decide on) for Alex's first birthday. Alex loves to swing so adding a swing to a bigger set would work for him, but how long would he really be entertained by just a swing. That slide on the big set would definitely be too big for him for several years. The thing about the small one is that there is no swing. I know that I can buy a separate plastic "thingy" that has a swing but that would be hard for me to push him in as it's built for little ones. HELP! We really need some outside opinions here, neither one of us can come to an agreement and since we don't have any experience in this department, I figure asking for help on this one is totally reasonable. Opinions PLEASE!!!

Get the bigger one, they grow out of the little ones soooooooooo quickly, and the bigger ones are a TRUE INVESTMENT!
